The Department of Art and Design offers the following graduate programs:

  • Master of Design (MDes) - The MDes degree program provides advanced studies in Industrial Design and Visual Communication Design.
  • Master of Fine Arts (MFA) - The MFA degree program provides advanced studies in Drawing & Intermedia, Painting, Printmaking, and Sculpture.
  • Master of Arts (MA) History of Art, Design and Visual Culture - The MA degree program provides advanced studies and research in topics ranging from the early modern through the modern and contemporary periods, including themes related to European, North American, and Asian art, design, and visual culture.
  • Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) History of Art, Design and Visual Culture - The PhD degree program provides further advanced studies and research in topics ranging from the early modern through the modern and contemporary periods, including themes related to European, North American, and Asian art, design, and visual culture.
