Aidan is Assistant Professor of Visual Communication Design/Interactive New Media. He teaches design fundamentals, interactive media, design theory, and information design. His research and practice interests are in design and education. Recent practice based work explores human computer interaction, net.art, and information aesthetics. Written and pedagogic work revolves around understanding and improving design education in both practical and theoretical forms. His professional practice focuses on information design and new media; recent clients include Frockshop.com, Net-APorter. com, Sony, Vogue, Matthew Williamson and Jimmy Choo. He has taught design in Canada and the UK and has delivered papers or presented work in the UK, Canada, Scotland, Austria, Germany, France, Korea and Japan.
